50th Reunion 2012. We held our first committee meeting last night at Leslie Greer's home and there are some changes from the original plan. The date is still August 25, 2012 at Long Beach Yacht Club. For Friday night the committee felt parking was a problem at the 49er Tavern and they it looks like we will have a pre-party at Bouys on the end of Belmont Pier. There will be a $10 or $15 cost for food and a no host bar. The committee is in favor of hiring Patricia Gehrke, class 1968, to make a professionally done reunion book with photos, bios and lots of tidbits. Jeri Livingston (1963) is going to interview the families of deceased classmates and report about their lives which will be in the book. The reunion book will be expensive to make but the committee felt it was worth the cost for the 50th Reunion. The cost of the Reunion will be about $100 which will include a fee book. There will probably be a photographer there taking photos which will be on the internet and available for free download and printing. There will also be a vidiographer documenting the whole reunion and you will have an opportunity to purchase his product which is optional. We have added a tour of Wilson High on Sunday which should be very interesting seeing the changes in 50 years.

Web Site Changes Thanks to contributions from classmates and reunion committees, the web site WilsonHighReunion.com can now afford its own HOST service and will not be sharing host services with Halling.com. You will not be able to recognize any difference, however some classmates may have saved the old host address in their browser favorites and they will need to update their browser favorites list. Data Base Update We are constantly reviewing our data base of classmate contact information and Jeri Hemphill Livingstone (Class 63) has volunteered to help find missing classmates. Bless her sole! Jeri says they call her Sherlock cause of her success in finding missing classmates for Class of 63. In one week she found 50 classmates we have not been able to find in 40 years. Total she has found over 200 classmates since February 2006. I call her our angel from Heaven sent by Dick Johnson about 3 weeks after his death.

REUNION LUNCHEONS Your Reunion Committee is periodically hosting luncheons. Our last Luncheon was January 27, 2007 at Busters in Alamitos Bay. We send out e-mails to those we have e-mail addresses. No Post Office mailings are expected for Luncheons but you will hear about them on Facebook.com.

REMEMBER! It is your responsibility to keep your reunion committee informed if you move or change your e-mail address. You can use the registration form to keep the reunion committee informed of any address changes. Or send an e-mail.
